Songs to have ready in case they are requested:

The per-set formula the Carleton social dance committee requested in 2000: 1-2 waltzes, 1-2 tangos, 1-2 cha-chas, 1-2 rhumbas, 1 meringue/mambo/salsa/W.C. swing, 5-7 fox trot/swing. Since that year, there's been no specific request for a song type mix. Since then, the West Coast Swing songs have proven very popular with the dancers, and we've added more of them, replacing some Latin dances, which have typically been covered by the DJ in a different room. In addition, the student committee left out polkas, but polkas are always popular at these dances.Of course, all the songs in our book are available on request, but the ones below are categorized for those dancers who want a style but don't know specific titles.
