Before the dance Cindy and Terry Gardner, representing TC Swing, gave free swing dance lessons. At 7:55, Stan Turner, KLBB radio host, and Amy Lauria, wing leader, introduced the dance and welcomed the dancers.

At this point, while the band took a break, Stan Turner and Amy Lauria led the ceremonies to honor all veterans and active military personnel, and a CAF pilot ran up the B25 engines.

After the break, the Minnesota Fire Service Pipe Band marched in to The Green Glens of Antrim and The Star of The County Down and performed these selections with the Roseville Big Band
