Jason Swalley

Jason illustrated the phrase "If you dig that Freddie Green guitar" in Dance to the Big Band Swing at the Scott County Historical Society dance, October 12, 2013.

Jason played a solo on "Woodchopper's Ball " in the Lyngblomsten chapel.

Jason first performed with the Roseville Big Band at the October 1, 2013, Lyngblomsten concert. He has a degree in music therapy from the University of Minnesota, where he also played guitar in the U of M  jazz band. 

Jason also plays tuba in a brass choir, in the Centennial Stompers - a Dixieland band, and in an old-time band called the Sweet Peas. You might also recognize him from the local variety bands he's played in on guitar and bass.
