Before the first set, CAF wing leader Rod Hald and member Brad Ross made a series of announcements.

Honoring of the veterans, grand march for those in costume (Armed Forces Medley (short version)) and costume contest winner announcements

Trumpets/Flugelhorns: Mark Lee, Kari Coad, Dan Theobald, and Pat Gefre
Trombones: Mike Bratlie, George Henly, Rich Eyman, and Keith Miner (bass trombone)
Rhythm: Ann Booth (piano), Jim Foss (guitar), Mike Wobig (bass), and Kenne Thomas (drums); unlike virtually every other CAF dance, Glen did not play vibraphone at this dance
Vocal: The Rosetones (Karen Dunn, Diane Lindberg, Kirk Lindberg and Glen Newton) and Keith Miner

Cindy and Terry Gardner of TC Swing gave the swing dance lessons from 7:00 to 8:00. During the band breaks, Terry played dance music from his iPod, hooked up to the band's sound system.

We sold six CDs (five of Concert in the Park +8 and one of the original Concert in the Park) and one cassette tape.
