Carleton 2011

The Roseville Big Band performed at the Carleton College Mid-Winter Dance, February 5, 2011. Dancers and listeners enjoyed the wide variety of music the band played.

Students played Latin percussion instruments on "Cha Cha Cha for Judy," "Besame Mucho" and "El Cumbanchero."
 
Keith Miner belted out the lyrics when he wasn't playing bass trombone. Brian Dole, Dan Theobald, Bob Nielsen, Glen Peterson, and Karen Dunn were among the band's soloists.

The Roseville Big Band rhythm section: Dave Tuenge on drums, Ann Booth on piano, Kent Schoenherr on electric bass, and Carl Berger on guitar.
Downstairs, students enjoyed the music of Salsa Del Soul. During the band's breaks, students flocked to the student DJs in the Great Space in Sayles-Hill Campus Center.
