Tim Altmann

Tim played a solo on "Mac the Knife" at the Children's Hospital Association 53rd Annual Ball, November 23, 2002. Tim plays in a tux.

Former Role in Roseville Big Band: 

Lead and third trumpet; Tim also doubles on flugelhorn, piccolo trumpet, and valve trombone.

Tim is a free-lance trumpeter, often playing piccolo trumpet for weddings. He plays lead trumpet in the Red Rock Swing Band (originally called the South Washington County Swing Band).

While living in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area, Tim played in Salt City Brass from 1991 to 2002. He contributed numerous arrangements to their repertoire, some of which you can hear on their CD, "Salt City Brass Parade of Hits". He also played trumpet in the West Valley Symphony, Draper Symphony, Riverton Symphony, and a select group of brass players who perform The Messiah with the Mormon Tabernacle Singers.

He has also contributed arrangements, such as "It's Been a Long, Long, Time" and "Tico-Tico", to the Roseville Big Band repertoire.

Tim's sister, Wendy Altmann Davis, has also performed with the Roseville Big Band.
