Craig plays trumpet in and arranges music for Brass Menagerie, a Twin Cities ten-piece swing/rock/pop horn band, and the One Hit Wonders (7 piece one hit wonder novelty horn band). He also arranges music for the annual Rock the Park event in Little Falls, MN.
Craig plays, leads, and arranges for the Abiding Savior Lutheran brass group and praise band. He also plays in the Roseville Lutheran Big Band along with Roseville Big Band members Bill Frank, Bob Nielsen, and Dan Theobald.
He also plays trumpet in the Longfellow Brass Quintet, the resident brass quintet of Christ Church Lutheran in South Minneapolis. He has occasionally performed with Glen Newton as a duo by the name of Two Guys and a Laptop.
You'll see Craig's name in the credits for the movie "Into Temptation" (starring Jeremy Sisto (Law and Order), Kristen Chenoweth (Wicked, the musical), and Brian Baumgartner (The Office)), listed as "Special Trumpet" for his contributions to the soundtrack.
Craig earned a degree in Music Education from St. Cloud State University, studying trumpet with Al Moore. While there, he played with Octopus and Chance (rock horn bands).
In high school, Craig played with the Top Brass (a Tijuana Brass type group). His past performances have included playing in a back-up band for Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.
