You might have heard him performing Sunday evenings at O'Garas Bar and Grill in St. Paul.with the Nova Jazz Orchestra during the nine years he was their regular drummer. If you missed hearing Stefan with Nova, it's not too late; he is on their first three CD's. You can see and hear samples at http://www.novajazz.org.

While living in Sweden in 1985 through 1989, he played with two big bands in the Göteborg area, Västra Frölunda Storband and Moving Big Band. He also played in the Peppermint Jazz Band, a septet.

Stefan took a few-year break from regular performing to earn his private pilot license. When not drumming or working for 3M, he flies with the Civil Air Patrol.
