Paul Barrett

Paul Barrett, Wendy Altmann, and Roseville Big Band vocalist Kirk Lindberg were three of the stars of the production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at Como Park pavilion in St. Paul.

Paul played one of Joseph's brothers and was the understudy for the role of the Pharoah. Wendy sang the role of the narrator. Kirk had the title role.

To correspond with the production of the musical, the trio performed a medley of songs from the musical with an augmented Roseville Big Band in a Central Park concert July 25, 1995. Paul sang a solo on the Pharoah's song and joined the other trio members on "Go, Go, Go Joseph" and other ensemble songs in the medley. The band borrowed the music from Max Metzger, musical director of the production, and added oboist Andie Gehrtz, flute and piccolo player Ann Gabrys, and clarinetist David Gates to the musical forces.
