Neil first performed with the Roseville Big Band on the July 4, 2011, concert in Roseville's Frank Rog Amphitheatre.
A music education graduate of Northwestern College, Neil is a trumpet instructor at Northwestern's Academy of Music. While attending Northwestern, he played in the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Brass Ensemble and Brass Quintet. He also participates in his church orchestra.
In the past Neil has played in The Minnesota Youth Symphonies, various honor bands, and the Roseville/Shoreview Homeschool Band.
