Maia was the Roseville Big Band's first guest artist of 2010, singing at the Carleton College Mid-Winter Ball, February 6, 2010.
Maia is a member of the Carleton College class of 2010. As a senior, she sings in a jazz-pop ensemble and a student a capella group. She has also sung in various choirs and madrigal groups and has toured with groups in New York and New Orleans.
Maia hopes to continue singing and performing long after graduation.
