Kurt has been active on the Twin Cities big band scene for 40+ years, playing with the Don Bates Great Big Band, the Twin Cities Jazz Orchestra, and most notably with The Century Jazz Ensemble where he has had the privilege of playing with some of world's greatest jazz artists such as Clark Terry, Bill Watrous, Bobby Shew, Eric Marienthal, Randy Brecker, and many more.
You may also find Kurt playing in a park near you in the summer with the Dirty Shorts Brass Band.
Kurt first performed with the Roseville Big Band in the August 2, 2016, concert at Como Dockside Pavilion.
