Chuck has been swing dancing for three years as of March, 2003, and Maro for almost two. Both of them have studied under Cindy and Terry Gardner. Chuck has also studied under international teachers Kenneth and Helena Norbelie from Sweden and Steve Bailey and Carla Heiney of Washington D.C., among others.
