In the summer of 2001, the Minnesota History Center sponsored a series of outdoor danceseach in a different styleto celebrate its exhibit, "Sounds Good to Me: Music in Minnesota". The series was called "9 Nights of Music Fun", and the Roseville Big Band played for the swing dance on July 17, entertaining a crowd of 462 dancers and spectators.
