Guest percussionists with the Roseville Big Band at the February
2, 2002, Mid-Winter Dance displayed skills
that ranged from energetic enthusiasm to mastery of complex rhythms.

Lindberg, at left, played a mini-afuche on "La Bamba" after
helping give volunteer percussionists quick tutorials on playing the band's
Latin percussion instruments.
Students played (from left to right) congas, afuche, agogo bells, maracas,
tambourine, and egg shaker on "Besame Mucho" and "El Cumbanchero".
