The Audience at a Roseville Big Band Concert in Central Park

Brian Jacques, Roseville Area High School guest soloist with the Roseville Big Band, played a solo while standing among the audience members. Each of our summer concerts features soloists playing in the crowd.

Brian plays a tenor sax solo, surrounded by adults and children who have gathered for the July 4th, 1993, festivities in Roseville's Central Park.

Attendance at concerts in Central Park is typically between 300 and 400 people, but on the Fourth of July the many activities in the park swell concert audience numbers to several thousand. "Seven Decades of Swing" was the theme of the July 4, 1993, concert shown above.
