Rehearsals every Tuesday except after performances on days other than Tuesday. Other performances, sit-in nights, joint rehearsals and other special events will be added to the schedule.

Tuesday, January 6: Rehearse

Saturday, January 10 (confirmed 2008-12-03): Concordia Academy (Roseville) Winter Formal Dance at the school, 2400 North Dale Street, Roseville 55113. Contact: Rev. Tim Berner, principal. tim.berner@concordiaacademy.com; (651) 484-8429, x111. $600 for three hours, from 8:00 until 11:00. Set up at 7:00. Play some waltzes, polkas, cha-chas, fox trots and miscellaneous other ballroom dances in addition to the swing numbers. There will be dance lessons prior to the band's starting time at another location while we set up.

Saturday, February 7 (confirmed 2008-10-20): Carleton College Winter Dance. 9:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. 14th anniversary (15th performance) of our performances for the Carleton Dance - we first played there January 29, 1994; play 9:00-1:00 in the Great Hall; contact: TDB, Director of Campus Activities, 507-222-4155; bus pickup at St. Michael's at 5:30; bus pickup at park-and-ride in Eagan (NE corner of Cliff and 35E) around 6:15. Note: City of Roseville tax ID: 416007849 $1500 for 2009, the same for 2008. We'll have cold cuts in the Fireside Room, as in the past.

Tuesday, February 10: No rehearsal because we play February 7.

Tuesday, February 17: Joint rehearsal with South Side Big Band at St. Michael's.

Tuesday, April 21: No rehearsal because of playing April 18.

Tuesday, April 28: No rehearsal because Glen has a conflict.

Tuesday, May 5, 12, and 19: Rehearse

Tuesday, May 26 (confirmed): Concert in Como Park, 7:00-8:30

Saturday, May 30 (confirmed): CAF Dance, 8:00-midnight; set up 6:00-7:00; Amy Lauria is our contact. $650

Tuesday, June 2: No rehearsal because of playing May 30; most of the songs for June 7 and 13 will be ones we've played at the CAF dance and Como Park.

Sunday, June 7 (confirmed): Concert in Central Park 7:45-8:30 to celebrate Frank Rog amphitheatre

Tuesday, June 9: We will rehearse, to polish the songs for June 13 and 16.

Saturday, June 13: Concert at Beacon Hill, 1-3 p.m., $325

Tuesday, June 16 (confirmed): Concert in Central Park; Scott Senko guest artist, singing "Mack the Knife"; also Will, Emily, Anna, and Allison singing "Accentuate the Positive"and Scott, Will, and Allison joining in on "Rosie the Riveter"

Saturday, July 4 (confirmed): Concert in Central Park; Shannon Wenzel guest artist, playing "Always and Forever" and the Swing Cats.

Tuesday, July 7: No rehearsal because of playing July 4

Tuesday, July 14 and 21: Rehearse

Tuesday, July 28 (confirmed): Concert in Central Park, Amaka Nwaokolo guest artist, singing "At Last", plus Val Krych, Carly Grandner, and Laura Woodley.

Tuesday, August 4, 11, 18, and 25: No rehearsal; sort through your music and practice the songs you don't know.

Tuesday, September 1: Rehearsal cancelled due to State Fair park-and-ride parking conflict.

Tuesday, September 8 and 15: Rehearse

Saturday, September 19 (confirmed): CAF Bomber's Moon Ball

Tuesday, September 22: No rehearsal because of playing September 19

Tuesday, September 29: Rehearse (with substitute bass player)

Saturday, October 3 (confirmed): Mike Wobig-Deb Hermes wedding reception. The wedding will be at 4:30 at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. The band will get to eat. Music will probably start around 6 to 7 and go until 9 or 10. Karen will front the band, since Glen will be out of town that weekend.

Tuesday, October 6: No rehearsal because of playing October 3 and St. Michael's isn't available.

Tuesday, October 13: No rehearsal because St. Michael's isn't available.

Tuesday, October 20: Rehearse

Tuesday, October 27: Sit-in night (rescheduled - previously was October 20)

Tuesday, November 3: No rehearsal because St. Michael's isn't available

Tuesday, November 10 and 17: Rehearse

Saturday, November 21 (confirmed): Children's Hospital 60th Annual Ball: CHAnging Lives; play 7:30-11:00. Contact at Swank (in-house A-V for Crowne Plaza: Ben Hall, 651-925-8664. $900. Ball chairman Andrea Johnson-Strommen, 651-483-3720. Special appearance by "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast.

Tuesday, November 24: No rehearsal because of playing November 21

Tuesday, December 1: Rehearse - the last rehearsal of the year

Tuesday, December 8: Holiday/year-end party at St. Michael's - gathering at 5:30, serving food around 6:30. In addition to those on the current roster, those who have performed with us, sponsored us, (filled in at rehearsals) or provided new works for us to play during 2008 include the following:
