September 15, 2001 (Saturday): Sarah Wasmundt wedding reception (read about Sarah's law school work:; groom: Tim Sonsalla; bride's parents: Donna and Steven Wasmundt; groom's parents: David and Linda Sonsalla; reception is at the Saint Paul Hotel, 350 Market Street, St. Paul, MN 55012, (651) 292-9292; dance from 7:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m.; set up any time after 4:00 p.m.; dance is in the Casino Ballroom (main level); risers will be provided by the St. Paul Hotel; Contact person: Mary Jo Lessard, Catering Sales Manager, (651) 228-3869;; request --- "Fly Me to the Moon" as a vocal for the first song; Sarah will solo on trumpet on "It Had to Be You". [Karen unavailable] Pavarotti is performing the same night at the Excel Center, so parking may be tight; carpool if possible. Suggestion: $5 parking at Victory Center Ramp, 344 N. Wabasha. We'll be reimbursed by the bride's parents. Parking next to the St. Paul Hotel is $8-$10, but that's okay, too, if you can get it. HERE'S THE LIST OF SONGS WE ACTUALLY PLAYED. (I might have some of the soloists wrong. Let me know if you see errors.)

September 18 (Tuesday): No rehearsal

September 22, 2001: Confederate Air Force dance (8-12 PM, Fleming Field in S. St. Paul); two WW II warships are having reunions in S. St. Paul this weekend and will be at the dance: U.S.S. Orion and U.S.S. Willmarth (sp?); Todd Willmarth is one of their members and is writing a book on it. RBB donates its time for this dance, whose proceeds go to the Red Cross for disaster relief

September 25 (Tuesday): No rehearsal

October 2, 9 (Tuesday): Rehearse (Glen in Zurich, so Kay leads the rehearsals)

October 16, 2001 (Tuesday): Sit-in night

October 23 (Tuesday): Rehearse

October 30 (Tuesday): Dr. Herminio Diaz, clinician for Latin rhythms; all current subs welcome to sit in, too, for these special sessions
