You might recognize Steve from other groups he's performed with on upright and electric bass, including Swing and a Miss, led by drummer Kelly Rae Tubbs. He is also an accomplished trombonist, plays in the St. Peter Street Strompers, a Dixieland band with Dan Theobald, and has subbed on 1st trombone in the Sheldon Theatre Brass Band.
