John is a 2012 music performance graduate of Northwestern College in Roseville. He first performed with the Roseville Big Band on the July 31, 2012, concert in Central Park.
In addition to subbing with the Roseville Big Band, he also plays trombone with local rock/pop/R&B/funk cover band Big Toe and the Jam and his own small combos. John is also a regular sub with the KCGO Big Band and has subbed with multiple groups, including the ACME Jazz Company, St. Paul Civic Symphony, and the Century Brass.
