Jesse Farrell

Jesse plays his trombone.

Jesse rehearsed his solo on "Kids Are Pretty People".

Jesse improvised a chorus of "Kids Are Pretty People" in front of a live audience of over 400 people, during the July 23, 2002, concert in the Central Park band shell.

Jesse plays trombone facing left.

A member of the Roseville Area High School (RAHS) class of 2002, Jesse played lead trombone in the RAHS jazz ensembles as well as the Symphonic Band and Symphony Orchestra.

On the July 23, 2002, Roseville Big Band concert, he was a featured soloist on "Kids Are Pretty People", on which he had also been featured during his senior year at RAHS. Unlike the school performance, Jesse stood in front of the band for his solo and only played the solo sections of the second trombone part; trombone section member Rich Eyman played the section parts of the second trombone music. Jesse also joined the trombone section for two selections requiring five trombones, "Four" (playing second), and "Embraceable You" (playing fifth).
