Saturday, May 22: Spring Big Band Hangar Dance sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, in hangar #3 at Fleming Field in S. St. Paul, 8:00-midnight. Click here for directions (instructions and maps, 78K). Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Free swing dance lessons 7:00-7:45 by TC Swing. Special guest vocalists Kirk and Diane Lindberg. Dance exhibitions by the Swing Cats. Around 9:30, we might even have a run-up of the engines of a WWII-era plane! Prizes awarded for best uniforms and 40's dress! Saturday, September 25: World War II Hangar Dance sponsored by the Scott County Historical Society, at the Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, celebrating the new historical exhibit with oral histories of over 75 Word War II veterans. Your $45 ticket (available at the Stans Museum or at the door) helps preserve this historic legacy. (Note: You must be 21 for this event.) Enjoy a grilled steak or chicken dinner and cash bar (wine/beer only). Enter the Best 1940s Costume Contest, view vintage WWII planes and vehicles, bid on a live auction item, and more. The hangar is at Lot 72A, Sierra Lane. Turn at Gate G off Pioneer Trail and enter at Gate H. Dinner at 5:30. Special performance by the Wingwalkers USO Troupe at 6:15! Dance 7:00 - 10:00. Saturday, June 12: Outdoor Concert at the Ice Cream Social at Beacon Hill Retirement Community, 5330 Beacon Hill Road in Minnetonka, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Click here for the song list and pictures from the concert. Betwen dances, Beacon Hill residents played Latin percussion with the Roseville Big Band.

Tuesday, July 27: Concert in the Park originally planned for the Frank Rog Amphitheatre, corner of Lexington and Co. Rd. C, 7:30-8:45 p.m., but moved indoors to St. Michael's, 1660 W. Co. Rd.
